Hillsdale High School - New EGC Partnership

Description
Come help complete the installation of our new partner garden at Hillsdale High School. All the produce will go to Hillsdale's own Peace Pantry feeding the San Mateo community! We will start at 8 a.m. and work until our tasks are complete (estimated 11:30 a.m./12:00 p.m.). Our Living Campus work days have tasks appropriate for registered volunteers age 5 and up! See below for COVID protocols.
*Please note: garden is located next to the stadium off of Alameda De La Pulgas
Tasks may include:

Pruning and harvesting;
-
Preparing in-ground furrows & raised garden beds;

Mulching, sheet mulching, and/or other ground preparation;

Trash cleanup, and/or
-
Other special tasks to help grow our Living Campus and further EGC’s mission!

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, volunteers must observe the following guidelines:

All volunteers - including children - must wear masks at all times. Please bring your own masks, gloves, and water bottles.

To assure compliance with social-distancing and sanitation requirements, all volunteers for this event must be able to comply at all times with social-distancing and mask requirements.

If you have experienced ANY symptoms of illness in the last 14 days, or if you have had contact with anyone experiencing these symptoms within the last 14 days, please do NOT attend any EGC work event. Symptoms include, but are not limited to, chills, fever, fatigue, sore throat, muscle soreness, loss of sense of smell, vomiting, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and/or coughing.

If within the last 14 days you have come into close contact with anyone who has since tested positive for COVID-19, please do NOT attend any EGC work event prior to obtaining two negative COVID-19 tests spaced two days apart.
