COVID Home Garden Care Package Assembly

Come help assemble our COVID Home Garden Care Packages! Each 15 gallon pot is outfitted with 11 plants to provide a local low-income family with fresh produce all summer long.  We anticipate making 50 pots to deliver to families that afternoon!  Tasks appropriate for children 7 years and older will be available, but we ask that all parents ensure their children are able to maintain proper social distancing for the entirety of the event.

Please note, restroom facilities and water fountains will not be available during this event.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that all volunteers observe the following guidelines:

• All volunteers must wear masks and gloves at all times.  Please bring your own mask, work gloves and water bottle. 
• To assure compliance with social-distancing and sanitation requirements, all volunteers for this event MUST BE AGE 7 AND OLDER.
• If you have experienced ANY symptoms of illness in the last 14 days, or if you have had contact with anyone experiencing these symptoms within the last 14 days, please do NOT attend any EGC work event.  Symptoms include, but are not limited to, chills, fever, fatigue, sore throat, muscle soreness, loss of sense of smell, vomiting, severe abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and/or coughing.
