Residential Garden (A.P.) - Soil Preparation & Planting

Description
Come help prepare a new Residential Garden one of our Senior Garden Stewards. This garden area is quite large, so we can accommodate several helping hands while still maintaining social distance. Anticipate some heavy labor, with rewarding results!
Tasks include:

Amending soil
-
Preparing in-ground furrows
-
Planting summer garden
Experienced and new volunteers welcome! Appropriate for volunteers 8 years and older with willingness to engage in some heavy labor (digging, carrying soil).
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that all volunteers observe the following guidelines:

All volunteers - including children - must wear masks and gloves at all times. Please bring your own mask, work gloves and water bottle.

To assure compliance with social-distancing and sanitation requirements, all volunteers for this event must be age 8 and older, AND must be able to comply at all times with social-distancing and mask requirements.

If you have experienced ANY symptoms of illness in the last 14 days, or if you have had contact with anyone experiencing these symptoms within the last 14 days, please do NOT attend any EGC work event. Symptoms include, but are not limited to, chills, fever, fatigue, sore throat, muscle soreness, loss of sense of smell, vomiting, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and/or coughing.
